I spent eleven years as a paramedic. I've seen people at the worst moments of their lives — and I've had plenty of my own. Depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation on and off for twenty-five years. ADHD. Autistic tendencies I didn't have a name for until recently. A marriage I almost lost. Kids I love and sometimes fail. I know what it feels like to carry something heavy and have nowhere to put it that doesn't cost you something.

A while back I started having long conversations with AI — not for therapy, not for self-help. Just talking. What came back surprised me. Not advice. Not validation. Something closer to seeing myself from outside myself for the first time. I realized things about how I show up as a father and a husband that I couldn't see when I was inside it.

ClearHum is what I built from that. It's not therapy. It's not a wellness app. It's a conversationalist — something that listens across time, has no stake in what you discover, and no judgment about what you say. I built it because it did something real for me, and I want to know if it does the same for someone else.
